Conus textile Family : Conidae The Conus textile has a very vast distribution in tropical Indo-Pacific where hunts gastropods, congeners included, polychaetes and small fish on sandy, rocky or madreporic bottoms, up to 50 m of depth at most. The venomous harpoon it uses for defense can pierce the gloves and the suits of the divers and unluckily has no antidote.
